The Wetherby Plumber is a sole trader plumbing and heating business operated by Brad Kuhlmey, based in Wetherby, West Yorkshire.

2. Services
We provide plumbing, heating, bathroom installation, and related services across Wetherby, Harrogate, North Leeds and surrounding areas. Full details of our services are available on our website.
3. Quotes and pricing
- All quotes are provided free of charge with no obligation.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.
- Our standard hourly rate is £80/hr. Saturdays are charged at time-and-a-half (£120/hr).
- For larger projects (bathrooms, boiler installations etc.), we provide a fixed-price written quote before work begins.
- Any additional work required beyond the original quote will be discussed and agreed with you before we proceed.
- Parts and materials are charged separately unless included in a fixed-price quote.
4. Payment
- Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- For larger projects, we may agree staged payments at key milestones.
- We accept bank transfer, cash, and card payments.
- We do not require deposits for standard work. For larger projects requiring materials to be ordered, a deposit may be requested.
5. Guarantee
- All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion.
- If any issue arises with work we have carried out within the guarantee period, we will return and rectify it at no additional cost.
- This guarantee covers our workmanship only. Manufacturer warranties on parts, boilers and appliances are separate and covered by the relevant manufacturer’s terms.
- The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, or work carried out by others after our visit.
6. Cancellations
- If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please give us as much notice as possible.
- We understand things come up — we won’t charge you for cancellations made with reasonable notice.
7. Access and site conditions
- You must ensure we have reasonable access to the area where work is to be carried out.
- If we arrive and cannot access the property or the work area, we may need to charge for the wasted visit.
- We will take reasonable care to protect your property during work. We clean up after every job and will inform you of any unavoidable disruption.
8. Liability
- We carry full public liability insurance.
- We accept liability for damage directly caused by our work or negligence.
- We are not liable for pre-existing issues, problems caused by others, or issues beyond our reasonable control.
9. Gas work
- All gas work is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
- Gas Safe registration number: [GAS SAFE NUMBER].
- We comply with all current gas safety regulations.
